Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first ride with iCare.

We ask that you schedule your ride at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. For recurring appointments (such as dialysis), we can set up a standing schedule so you never have to call each time. For same-day or urgent requests, give us a call — we'll do our best to accommodate.
You can book by calling us at (843) 227-4621, emailing contact@icaretransportsc.com, or using the online request form. Online submissions are not confirmed bookings — a team member will follow up to confirm availability and provide your quote.
Yes — round trips are our most common request. When booking, let us know your estimated appointment duration. We can either schedule a return pickup at a specific time or have a driver stand by at the appointment location (standby wait fees apply).
We primarily serve the South Carolina Lowcountry, including Beaufort County, Jasper County, and Hampton County.

Yes. We transport veterans to VA appointments and serve patients with behavioral and mental health needs with the same professionalism and discretion as all our other transports. As a veteran-owned company, serving our fellow veterans is particularly important to us.
Rates depend on distance, service type, time of day, and any wait time. Because every trip is unique, we provide a free, no-obligation quote before your ride is confirmed. Contact us with your trip details and we'll get back to you quickly. Visit our Rates page for more detail on what factors affect your price.
iCare is contracted with multiple insurance providers and also offers private pay transportation.
We require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations. A cancellation fee may apply for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. We understand that medical situations change — if you need to cancel due to an emergency, please call us as soon as possible and we'll work with you.
